Sydney’s Cenobia has officially joined the Fearless Records roster, pairing the announcement with new single ‘Swallowed By The World’ and details of her forthcoming ‘Lethal Devotion’ EP.
Enigmatic modern metal artist Cenobia will release the six track EP on September 18th, continuing a project that has deliberately blurred the line between musician, character and unfolding digital mythology.
Cenobia first surfaced independently in 2025 with ‘Devour Me’, followed by ‘Throne Of Want’ and ‘Make Us Whole Again’. Those releases came wrapped in cryptic ciphers, lore heavy visuals and enough mystery around the person behind the project to spark online speculation that Cenobia might not even be real.
She is. The mystery, however, isn’t going anywhere.

Her Fearless Records signing arrives alongside ‘Swallowed By The World’, the fourth chapter in Cenobia’s ongoing narrative.
Musically, the track leans into modern metal with escalating riffs, haunting melodic passages and hefty breakdowns, while its themes move through trauma, obsession, internal conflict and rebirth.
Cenobia describes the new chapter in considerably more cryptic terms.
‘Cenobia gifts you her fourth chapter, ‘Swallowed By The World.’ Her end. Her beginning.’A divine awakening is upon us. Her eyes are yet to open.’ Devoured whole. A fractured rebirth. That world building has become fundamental to Cenobia’s identity. Inspired heavily by video games, her releases function as connected visual and musical chapters, with the growing community surrounding the project dubbed ‘Her Collective’.
The next piece arrives with ‘Lethal Devotion’. Alongside the four songs already revealed, the EP will introduce ‘Hypoxia’ and closing track ‘Constellation’.
Cenobia will also take the project onto considerably bigger Australian stages later this year, supporting Northlane on their ‘Anemoia’ Australian tour throughout November.
For an artist who only appeared publicly last year, signing globally with Fearless and stepping onto a Northlane tour is a sizeable jump. Whatever is hiding behind Cenobia’s curtain, the project is moving quickly.
