Australian fans won’t have to wait much longer to witness one of heavy music’s most respected live bands back on local stages.
US rock veterans Clutch have announced their first Australian headline tour in a decade, returning in January 2027 for a run of shows that will also feature fellow riff legends Corrosion Of Conformity.
The tour marks Clutch’s long awaited return as headliners after ten years away, with the Maryland outfit expected to arrive armed with a brand new studio album, the record will be the band’s 14th full length release and their first since 2022’s Sunrise On Slaughter Beach.
Over more than 30 years, Clutch have earned a reputation as one of heavy music’s most consistently outstanding live acts. Blending hard rock, blues, stoner rock and classic metal, they’ve built a catalogue that has continued to evolve while attracting one of the most dedicated fanbases in rock.

Corrosion of Conformity
Joining them for every headline date will be Corrosion Of Conformity, who will also be making their first Australian appearance since 2020.
Few bands have influenced heavy music quite like C.O.C. Since emerging in the early 1980s, they’ve helped shape crossover punk, sludge metal, southern rock and hardcore through classic albums including Blind, Deliverance, Wiseblood and America’s Volume Dealer. Earlier this year they released their 11th studio album, Good God / Baad Man, proving they remain as formidable as ever.
While both bands are also scheduled to appear at Adelaide’s Froth & Fury Festival, these headline shows offer fans a rare opportunity to catch two of heavy music’s most influential acts sharing the same bill in theatres across the country.
