Known best for their song ‘Mr Jones’ from their 1993 album August And Everything After, and of course, their song ‘Accidentally In Love’ which popped up in 2004’s Shrek 2, the Counting Crows have had a mighty prolific career across their 30 active years.
The group would release their eighth full-length album back in May, which also included four tracks from their 2021 EP Butter Miracle, Suite One. Frontman Adam Duritz would tell Forbes parts of the album were inspired by Australia’s own Gang of Youths and their track ‘The Man Himself’, taken from 2022’s angel in realtime.
Now, with 30 years of material under their belt, Counting Crows are set to bring their signature blend of rock, folk and alternative to our humble shores.
