Death Angel Announce Australian Tour Playing Act III In Full

Four headline shows join the band’s Froth & Fury appearance, with the complete album reserved for Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

As originally published by Spotlight Report, American thrash metal pioneers Death Angel have expanded their 2027 Australian return into a four-city headline tour, with their 1990 album Act III to be performed in full at each standalone show.

Hardline Media’s announcement confirms dates in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane following the Bay Area thrash band’s previously announced appearance at Adelaide’s Froth & Fury festival on 30 January.

There is an important distinction for Adelaide ticket buyers: Death Angel will play an Act III-focused festival set, but not the complete record. Hardline explicitly says the festival’s set-length restrictions prevent a full-album performance.

The headline shows will pair Act III in its entirety with additional material from the band’s catalogue. According to the promoter, this will be Death Angel’s first Australian visit since their 2018 tour with Sepultura.

Released in 1990, Act III followed The Ultra-Violence and Frolic Through The Park and marked the band’s move to Geffen Records. The album includes ‘Seemingly Endless Time’ and ‘A Room With A View’, both highlighted in the official Sydney event listing.

The newly announced dates give fans outside South Australia a chance to catch the album performance without travelling to the festival, while extending the band’s return across four standalone venues.

Death Angel Australian Tour 2027

  • Saturday, 30 January — Froth & Fury, Adelaide Showground — Act III-focused festival set
  • Sunday, 31 January — Magnet House, Perth — Act III in full
  • Wednesday, 3 February — Max Watts, Melbourne — Act III in full
  • Thursday, 4 February — Manning Bar, Sydney — Act III in full

Limited earlybird tickets go on sale Thursday, 15 October through Hardline Media, ahead of general sale on Tuesday, 20 October. VIP meet-and-greet tickets are also advertised and include show admission.

Froth & Fury tickets are already on sale separately. Fans choosing between the festival and a headline date should keep the set distinction in mind: the four standalone shows are where the complete album is promised.
