The music of Chuck Schuldiner is finally getting the full Death To All treatment in Australia, and they’re bringing Dark Angel with them.
Death To All have announced their first Australian tour, bringing their celebration of Death and Chuck Schuldiner to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide in January 2027, with thrash veterans Dark Angel joining the entire run.
Dubbed the ‘Death And Darkness Down Under’ tour, the four date stretch kicks off in Brisbane on January 26th before hitting Sydney and Melbourne, then wrapping up at Adelaide’s Froth & Fury Festival on January 30th.

For Australian Death fans, this is considerably more than a standard tribute show.
Death To All Will Dig Across The Entire Death Catalogue
Death To All features musicians who were actually part of Death’s history, with drummer Gene Hoglan, bassist Steve DiGiorgio and guitarist Bobby Koelble joined by Cynic and Exist vocalist/guitarist Max Phelps.
The Australian shows will feature a huge legacy set pulling material from across Death’s entire studio catalogue, stretching from the primitive violence of 1987’s ‘Scream Bloody Gore’ through ‘Leprosy’, ‘Spiritual Healing’, ‘Human’ and ‘Individual Thought Patterns’, right up to ‘Symbolic’ and 1998’s ‘The Sound of Perseverance’.
It’s a catalogue that didn’t just evolve alongside death metal. Schuldiner repeatedly dragged the genre somewhere new, progressively dismantling its boundaries as Death moved from raw extremity towards increasingly technical and progressive territory.
Having Hoglan, DiGiorgio and Koelble performing that material gives these shows some serious weight.
Dark Angel Make It Even Heavier
As if that wasn’t enough history for one bill, Dark Angel are coming too.
The Californian thrash veterans built their reputation on vicious speed and technical precision, with 1986’s ‘Darkness Descends’ remaining one of the genre’s defining records.
They’re not simply trading on the old days either. Dark Angel returned with long awaited comeback album ‘Extinction Level Event’ last year, adding another chapter after decades without a new full length.
