Escape The Fate’s long awaited Australian return just got heavier.
With their June tour locked in, Las Vegas post-hardcore outfit Escape The Fate have now confirmed a stacked support lineup, headlined by US metalcore mainstays The Word Alive.
It’s a full circle package for fans who’ve been waiting three years to see Escape The Fate back on local stages, and it’s shaping up as one of the more loaded tours hitting the country this winter.
Local acts joining the bill
Joining every show except Perth will be Melbourne’s rising force The Gloom In The Corner, a band that’s been quietly building a reputation for unhinged, cinematic live shows, they’ve already clocked miles alongside names like Wage War and Make Them Suffer, and their inclusion here feels less like a warm up slot and more like a warning shot.
For Perth, the support slot flips to Patient Sixty-Seven, bringing a more emotionally grounded edge, the band have carved out a loyal following by leaning into honesty and connection, turning heavy music into something that hits beyond the pit.
A tour built for the long haul
Escape The Fate aren’t exactly newcomers to Aussie crowds, over two decades in, they’ve built a catalogue that still hits, from ‘This War Is Ours’ through to 2025’s ‘Redefined’.
That latest release continues their balancing act between sharp hooks and heavier moments, and if their past runs here are anything to go by, the live show won’t be holding back.
Alongside them, The Word Alive bring their own weight, with nearly two decades behind them and tracks like ‘Rise’ pulling serious streaming numbers, they’ve got the kind of set that turns rooms into mass singalongs without losing bite.
No filler, just impact
It’s a lineup that hits across different corners of the scene, from veterans to newer acts still pushing forward, for Australian fans, that mix matters, keeping the energy unpredictable.
