Parkway Drive are bringing Park Waves Festival to Australia: here’s everything we know so far about the next big festival to hit Aussie shores.

It’s official: Park Waves Festival is coming to Australia. Byron Bay legends Parkway Drive are set to debut the festival on Aussie shores – and we’ve collated everything we know so far in one place.

We’ll be updating this piece as more info becomes available, so keep checking back!

Park Waves News

What is Park Waves Festival?

The very first Park Waves was launched by Parkway Drive in Dresden, Germany last year (July 6, 2024) and saw the titans headlining alongside Dying Fetus, Fit For a King, Erra and Aussie mates in the form of Thy Art Is Murder and Alpha Wolf.

Parkway Drive announced that Park Waves would be making its Australian debut on July 6 with a teaser video alongside an Aussie flag emoji and the simple caption: “Park Waves is coming…get ready for the next wave.” The announcement comes exactly a year after the very first event in Germany in 2024.

The Australian iteration will see the band work alongside Aussie promoters Destroy All Lines (Good Things Festival & Hellbound Cruise to name some of their previous work alongside a pretty huge chunk of heavy and alternative tours Down Under). Based on social media posts, it looks like Oztix is in on the gig too.

This festival comes as part a massive run for Parkway Drive, who just last month played at the Sydney Opera House for a game-changing night of music, alongside being added to the Hellbound Cruise lineup in May.

Park Waves Festival Tickets

Tickets to the festival will go on sale in stages: Parkway Nation can cop them from 9am local time, Tuesday 22 July, the Destroy All Lines Presale kicks off that same day at 5pm local time, and the general sale is 10am local time Thursday, 24 July. Fans can sign up for the pre-sale here.
