From Ashes To New Release New Single ‘Die For You’ Ahead Of Upcoming Album ‘Reflections’

Lancaster heavy hitters From Ashes To New have unleashed a new single titled ‘Die For You’, offering another glimpse into their upcoming album ‘Reflections’, set for release April 17th via Better Noise Music.

The track lands with a punch, layered vocals collide with sharp riffs and shadowy melodies, giving the song a restless emotional edge that sits comfortably in the band’s blend of metal, rock, and hip-hop tinged intensity.

Alongside the single, the band has released a new music video featuring Cruella Morgan, bringing the song’s emotional weight into sharp visual focus:

A song about breaking point

For vocalist Matt Brandyberry, the track digs into the psychological toll of a relationship built on imbalance (per press release):

“The fallout of a relationship built on control, desire, and guilt. It’s a song that captures the exhaustion of giving endlessly to someone who keeps asking for more and mistaking survival for love. At its core, the song is about the moment clarity breaks through, forcing you to question how much of yourself you’re willing to lose.”

Frontman Danny Case echoes that same emotional strain in the song’s core theme:

“‘Die For You’ is about bending over backwards, doing everything you possibly can to please someone in a relationship, and it just never ends up being enough. And it feels like no matter what you do, it is just never good enough.”

A reset for the band

‘Die For You’ arrives as part of ‘Reflections’, a 12 track album following 2023’s ‘Blackout’, which topped several iTunes and Spotify rock and metal charts worldwide, but the road to the new record wasn’t straightforward.

After initially demoing 16 songs for their fifth studio album, the band made the unusual decision to scrap almost everything and start again, only two songs survived those early sessions, forcing the band to rebuild the album from the ground up.

According to Brandyberry, the reset helped sharpen their vision:

“I wanted to take what we are good at and push it even further. That was the process for this whole record.”

The result, by the band’s own account, is a refreshed version of From Ashes To New that stays rooted in their signature sound while stretching toward something broader.
