Golden Globes 2026, Full List Of Nominees Revealed Ahead Of January Ceremony

Share

The Golden Globes 2026 nominations have landed, and while most categories lined up neatly with awards season predictions, there were still a few eyebrow raisers buried in the list.

The biggest shock? Wicked: For Good missing out on a Best Picture slot, a snub that’s already setting social feeds on fire. On the flip side, there was widespread celebration around Amy Madigan’s nomination for her chilling turn in Weapons.

Leading the charge this year is Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another, which has been the frontrunner in conversations for months. Anderson’s political fever dream, starring Leonardo DiCaprio in one of his loosest, sharpest performances in years, cemented its dominance across major categories.

Also making noise is Joachim Trier’s Sentimental Value, a delicate, emotionally charged story anchored by a powerhouse performance from Renate Reinsve, with Elle Fanning also earning recognition for a blistering supporting role.

Other titles rounding out the year’s cultural touchpoints include Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, the genre-blending blockbuster Sinners, and the tender literary adaptation Hamnet, proving the Globes’ appetite for both spectacle and introspective drama.

Television saw a similarly stacked field, heavy hitters like Severance, The White Lotus, The Last of Us and breakout hit Adolescence all secured nominations, reflecting a year dominated by prestige anxiety core and apocalyptic storytelling.

The comedy categories came through with expected favourites: The Bear, Hacks, Abbott Elementary and Only Murders in the Building continue to tower over the landscape.

Hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser, the 2026 Golden Globes ceremony will take place Sunday, January 11, 2026 (US time).

Below is the full list of film, TV and podcast nominees, preserved exactly as announced.
