Green Day is giving fans a new way to dive into more than three decades of punk rock history, launching Green Day TV, a dedicated 24/7 livestream on YouTube packed with music, rare archive footage and exclusive content.

Available now, the always on channel serves as a digital home for the band’s extensive catalogue, combining classic music videos, live performances and a treasure trove of previously unseen behind the scenes material spanning almost 30 years.

You can expect everything from recording studio sessions and backstage moments to tour footage and music video production clips that have never been publicly released (per Blabbermouth).

Beyond the archival content, Green Day TV is designed to be an interactive experience, the stream will regularly feature fan giveaways, trivia, surprise announcements and exclusive drops, giving viewers plenty of reasons to keep checking back.

Transmission Unknown

One of the biggest additions to the channel is Transmission Unknown, a new weekly variety show hosted by drummer Tré Cool, the series will spotlight emerging artists through live performances, interviews and comedy sketches, while also creating opportunities for collaborations between established musicians and rising talent.

The launch further expands Green Day’s growing direct to fan offerings. Alongside their SiriusXM station, Green Day’s Idiot Nation, the new video platform creates another destination where the band can share music, celebrate their legacy and keep fans updated on future tours, merchandise and releases.

Nimrods

Green Day TV arrives just days before the theatrical release of Nimrods, the band’s upcoming coming of age comedy inspired by their early touring years, hitting cinemas on August 14th, the film follows three friends who mistakenly believe their band has landed an opening slot for Green Day on New Year’s Eve, sending them on a chaotic road trip to Los Angeles.
