Guilt Trip Announce New Album ‘Armour Of Angels’ With June Release Locked In

Share

UK crossover heavyweights Guilt Trip aren’t wasting time, fresh off their surprise EP ‘God Forgives’, the band have confirmed a new full length album, ‘Armour Of Angels’, set to land June 5th via Roadrunner Records.

The upcoming record will include all three tracks from that February drop, ‘Dirt’, ‘Angel Eyes’, and ‘Burn’, folding them into a broader, more fleshed out release, it suggests ‘God Forgives’ wasn’t a standalone moment, but the opening chapter of something bigger.

A heavier, self-driven approach

Guilt Trip have kept things tight behind the scenes, handling production duties themselves, that hands on approach usually means sharper edges and fewer compromises, something the band have been leaning into as their sound continues to evolve.

On the technical side, Nolly Getgood (Periphery) alongside Robin Adams stepped in for mixing and engineering, that combination points toward a polished but still aggressive finish, bridging hardcore grit with modern metal clarity.

There’s also a notable guest appearance tucked into the tracklist. Sonny Sandoval of P.O.D. features on ‘Resurrected’, hinting at a crossover moment that could push the band’s sound into new territory without losing its bite.

Tracklist locked and loaded

‘Armour Of Angels’ clocks in at 12 tracks, balancing shorter bursts with more layered cuts:

  • 01 – ‘One By One’
  • 02 – ‘Blood Atonement’
  • 03 – ‘Cut From God’
  • 04 – ‘Dirt’
  • 05 – ‘Angel Eyes’
  • 06 – ‘Veins’
  • 07 – ‘No Love Lost’
  • 08 – ‘Intermission’
  • 09 – ‘Burn’
  • 10 – ‘Suffer Me’
  • 11 – ‘Resurrected’ (feat. Sonny Sandoval)
  • 12 – ‘The Banner Of Heaven’

There’s a clear thematic weight running through those titles, leaning into imagery of faith, conflict, and redemption. It’s familiar territory for the genre, but Guilt Trip have been building a reputation for making it feel personal rather than recycled.

Momentum isn’t slowing down

Dropping a surprise EP and a full-length within months is a bold move, it either spreads a band thin or proves they’re sitting on a stockpile of material they believe in, Guilt Trip look like the latter.

With Roadrunner backing them and a June release locked, ‘Armour Of Angels’ feels less like a follow-up and more like a statement, the question now is whether it hits harder than the warning signs that came before it.
