Guilt Trip Unleash Armour Of Angels And Crushing Video For One By One

Share

Manchester metallic hardcore outfit Guilt Trip have officially released their long awaited new album Armour Of Angels via Roadrunner Records, alongside a blistering new video for opening track One By One.

The clip captures the raw intensity that has made the five piece one of the UK’s fastest rising heavy acts, featuring footage from their Winter 2026 U.S. tour with Malevolence.

For fans who haven’t experienced a Guilt Trip show firsthand, the video offers a front row view of the fun, energy and relentless aggression that has become synonymous with the band’s live reputation.

“We are proud to unleash our brand new record Armour of Angels on the world,” the band said (via press release).

“We put everything Guilt Trip lives and breathes into this LP and we are excited to finally share what we have been working on over the past three years.”

The release marks a major milestone for vocalist Jay Valentine and company, arriving after a period of significant growth that has seen the band transition from underground favourites to one of the most talked-about names in modern hardcore.

Speaking with us ahead of the album’s release, Valentine described the last few years as the period where everything truly began to click.

“It kind of feels like the start, really,” he said. “I think the 10 years has gone really fast, but mostly the last three years is where it really started to feel like the band was going somewhere.”

Rather than reinventing their sound, Guilt Trip focused on pushing their signature style to new extremes on Armour Of Angels.

“We just tried to make every breakdown sort of as heavy as it can be, while still sounding like Guilt Trip,” Valentine told Blunt.

The album has already earned widespread praise, with Rolling Stone UK naming the band among its “Future of Music 2026” artists, while Kerrang! and Revolver have also championed the release.

The record also features a standout guest appearance from P.O.D. frontman Sonny Sandoval on Resurrected, a collaboration that came together after Sandoval spotted Valentine wearing a P.O.D. shirt at a festival and the band then reached out online.

Guilt Trip’s release weekend was packed with celebrations, including an Adidas collaboration pop-up in Manchester and a sold out charity show supporting multiple local organisations.

After a decade of hard work and relentless touring, Armour Of Angels feels less like an arrival and more like the beginning of an even bigger chapter for one of heavy music’s most exciting rising forces.
