Hayley Williams Has Released All 17 of Her New Songs On Streaming

Share

Hayley Williams has released all 17 new tracks previously locked behind a password on her personal website for everyone to listen to.

Well, we didn’t have to wait too long. Hayley Williams has released all 17 tracks she had published on her personal website to the general public this morning. You can now listen to them on your streaming platform of choice.

These 17 songs were previously locked behind a password given to individuals who had bought Williams’ new “Ego” shade of semi-permanent hair dye from her company Good Dye Young.

After entering the code, users were brought to a web page featuring new tracks including ‘True Believer’, ‘Mirtazapine’, ‘Hard’, ‘Negative Self Talk’, ‘Discovery Channel’ and ‘Zissou’. On the site, there was an additional ‘Misc’ folder, which contained a live performance video from a 2017 show in Phoenix. The folder also contained an image of a lyric book and a “Hayley Williams is my favourite band” t-shirt, teasing more merch to come.

Now, only two days later, the Paramore singer has released all 17 songs for us all to enjoy.

The 17 tracks were all recorded by Williams and produced by Daniel James (The Veronicas, Selena Gomez). Long-time collaborators Brian Robert Jones, Joey Howard contributed to all tracks. Jim-E Stack also contributed to the track ‘True Believer’ as well.

A few of the songs here are sure to be a treat for die-hard Paramore fans. For example, the chorus of ‘Ice In My OJ’ was actually first sung by Williams in the 2004 song ‘Jumping Inside’ by the Mammoth City Messengers.

This is the third batch of solo material released by Williams, following Williams’ 2021 solo album FLOWERS for VASES/descansos. While Williams isn’t framing these singles as a new solo album, there’s no denying there’s enough material there to keep fans satisfied until a new project drops.
