Share

Hayley Williams has surprised dropped 17 new songs on her website as part of the new drop from her hair dye company ‘Good Dye Young’.

The Devil works hard, but Hayley Williams works harder.

The Paramore singer has released 17 new songs on her website overnight. The sudden upload follows the release of an access code to fans as part of the new drop from Williams’ Good Dye Young hair dye company.

To receive the password, fans must purchase the new “Ego” shade of semi-permanent hair dye from Williams’ company Good Dye Young. Fans were alerted to the release after the hair dye’s website landing page displayed a message suggesting that fans check their inboxes for an email from Good Dye Young.

After entering the code, users were brought to a web page featuring new tracks including ‘True Bliever’, ‘Mirtazapine’, ‘Hard’, ‘Negative Self Talk’, ‘Discovery Channel’ and ‘Zissou’. Figuring fans didn’t have it good enough just yet, an additional ‘Misc’ folder contained video from a live performance from a show in Phoenix in 2017. The folder also contained an image of a lyric book and a “Hayley Williams is my favourite band” t-shirt, teasing more merch to come.

It’s unclear whether these songs are part of a brand new solo album from Williams or just a collection of throwaway B-sides. However, they’re sure to be a treat for any Paramore fan eagerly awaiting either a follow-up to Paramore’s 2023 album, This Is Why, or Williams’ solo album, Flowers for VASES / descansos.

Just last year, Williams collaborated with alternative R&B singer Moses Sumney on the song ‘I Like It I Like It’, showcasing their impressive vocal talents.

This release also comes a few days after Paramore released the deluxe digital edition of the band’s debut album, All We Know Is Falling, to honour its 20th anniversary. This release also includes the first-ever edition of The Summer Tic EP, which fans have been eagerly awaiting for years.
