Hollywood Vampires are heading back to one of their most celebrated live performances.
Rock supergroup Hollywood Vampires featuring Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, Joe Perry and Tommy Henriksen, has announced At Montreux Jazz Festival, a new live album capturing the band’s full 2018 set at the iconic Swiss festival.
To mark the announcement, the group has released a live version of Raise The Dead, giving fans a first taste of what’s to come from the performance.
Hollywood Vampires ‘Raise The Dead’ live
Described as “a thunderous celebration of rock history delivered with raw power, attitude and unmatched chemistry,” the release showcases a band paying tribute to the artists who inspired them while delivering the kind of no frills rock show they’ve become known for.
Beyond fan favourites from the band’s own catalogue, At Montreux Jazz Festival also includes several cover performances that haven’t previously appeared on an official Hollywood Vampires release.
Among the highlights is a rendition of Motörhead’s Ace of Spades, performed as a tribute to the late Lemmy Kilmister, whose influence on hard rock and heavy metal continues to loom large.
The performance captures everything the Hollywood Vampires project has represented since its formation, a celebration of classic rock, friendship and the musicians whose legacies continue to shape generations of artists.
