Two decades and counting
More than two decades after bursting onto the global stage, Jet remain one of Australia’s most celebrated rock exports. While many bands from the early 2000s have faded from view, Jet continue to draw crowds thanks to a catalogue packed with enduring rock classics and a live show that remains as powerful as ever.
The band’s resurgence has been impossible to ignore in recent years, following their return to touring in 2023 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Get Born, Jet were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame, cementing their place among Australia’s most influential rock acts.
Recent tours across the United States and a high-profile support slot alongside Lenny Kravitz on his Australian Blue Electric Light Tour introduced the band to new audiences while reminding longtime fans exactly why Jet became a global phenomenon in the first place.
Their landmark debut album Get Born remains one of the biggest Australian rock records of the modern era, selling more than 6.5 million copies worldwide and delivering timeless hits including Are You Gonna Be My Girl, Look What You’ve Done and Rollover DJ.
Joining Jet for most dates are Sydney alt-rock outfit Liquid Zoo, while Tasmanian audiences will be treated to support from Hobart psychedelic blues-rockers Spooky Eyes.
With the first leg of the Rumblin’ Regional Revue Tour drawing strong crowds and rave reviews, Jet’s return to regional Australia is shaping up as one of the must-see rock tours of the year.
