Korn frontman Jonathan Davis is set to reunite with longtime friend and legendary Japanese musician Yoshiki for a pair of special performances at Los Angeles’ iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall later this month.
How about this?
Jonathan Davis has been announced as a guest performer for both of Yoshiki‘s upcoming classical inspired concerts, taking place on July 16 and July 17. While the shows share the same venue, each has been designed as a unique experience, giving fans two distinctly different evenings.
The opening performance, titled Scarlet Night, will take place on July 16, with the follow up show, Violet Night, arriving the following evening (per The PRP). Yoshiki has teased that each concert will feature its own atmosphere and live elements, making both nights unique rather than repeat performances.

Jonathan Davis details under wraps
Although details surrounding Jonathan Davis’ appearance remain under wraps, the collaboration is far from unexpected. The Korn vocalist and Yoshiki have shared a close friendship for years, with the pair frequently expressing their mutual admiration for one another and collaborating across various projects within the rock and metal world.
Yoshiki has long been celebrated for seamlessly blending rock, classical music and theatrical performance, and his concerts at Walt Disney Concert Hall are expected to continue that tradition. Known as the drummer, pianist, composer and creative force behind Japanese rock legends X Japan, Yoshiki has earned a reputation for delivering emotionally charged performances that push beyond the boundaries of conventional rock shows.
For Korn fans, Davis’ guest appearance adds another compelling reason to catch the concerts, with the singer expected to join Yoshiki on stage during both performances.
While organisers are keeping the finer details closely guarded, anticipation is continuing to build ahead of the two exclusive Los Angeles events. Whether attending Scarlet Night, Violet Night or both, audiences can expect a memorable collaboration between two artists whose friendship has spanned years and whose musical worlds continue to intersect in unexpected ways.
