Kelly Osbourne has had enough of people trying to bury her dad before he’s even close to the grave.
The fashion icon and former chaos correspondent took to Instagram this week to clap back at rumours that Ozzy Osbourne is “dying,” after an unhinged AI deepfake video did the rounds claiming the Prince of Darkness was preparing for the end. “It has a voice like my dad’s David Attenborough or something,” Kelly said, understandably horrified. “What the f**k is wrong with you people?”
Valid question.
Ozzy, 76, has had a rough few years. Parkinson’s, multiple surgeries, and enough metal in his spine to open his own factory — but according to Kelly, he’s still very much alive and kicking. “Yes, he has Parkinson’s, and yes, his mobility is completely different than it used to be, but he’s not dying.” She doubled down: “What is wrong with you?”
The whole thing spiralled further when people started linking the AI video to Sharon Osbourne’s now-infamous chat about a suicide pact with Ozzy. On The Osbournes Podcast back in 2023, Sharon revealed the two had discussed travelling to Switzerland if their health declined beyond repair. Kelly? Not having it. “That was bulls**t my mom said to get attention one time.”
Classic Osbournes though. Even the drama has drama.
It’s worth noting Sharon’s said before that she’s pro-euthanasia and wouldn’t want to suffer a slow, painful death. “Mental suffering is enough pain without physical,” she said in one interview. But Kelly’s clearly over the narrative that her dad’s spiralling into oblivion — especially when he just played a farewell gig with Black Sabbath looking like he could still summon Satan if needed.
So no, Ozzy’s not on his deathbed. He’s just got Parkinson’s, a wicked sense of humour, and a daughter who’s not here for your AI-generated apocalypse clickbait.
The Osbournes might argue in public, but one thing’s clear: if you come for the Bat Dad, Kelly’s coming for you.
