Turning Point USA has officially revealed the lineup for its ‘All-American Halftime Show’, and it’s basically a four pack of mainstream country rock names built to make a statement.
It’s set to run on Sunday, February 8th (Monday 9th, Australia), the performance will feature Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett, after months of speculation about who would front the event.
The lineup was confirmed Monday (Feb. 2), with both Brice and Barrett sharing the announcement through their own social media channels (per Taste of Country).
The show is being positioned as a deliberate counter programming move, created “in response to Bad Bunny’s selection as halftime performer during Super Bowl LX.”
In other words: TPUSA wants a patriotic flavoured alternative, and they’ve picked four artists who can pull numbers with the right crowd.
More to come
There’s still plenty we don’t know, the structure is a mystery, four performers is a lot to cram into a 20 minute set, and none of them are exactly known for being a ready made supergroup. Whether they’ll rotate songs, share the stage, or run a stitched together remote broadcast is still unclear.
It’s also not confirmed if the performance will be live, where it will be filmed, or whether there’ll be any in person audience at all.
How to watch it
Turning Point USA plans to stream the halftime show on YouTube via its own channel and The Charlie Kirk Show’s YouTube channel, alongside streams on Rumble and the organisation’s X page (per Taste of Country).
A number of TV networks are also listed as carrying the show, including The Daily Wire, Real America’s Voice, Trinity Broadcasting Network, Charge!, The National News Desk, New Tang Dynasty (NTD), and One America News.
Politically, Kid Rock remains the loudest voice of the four, while Gilbert has also publicly pushed gun rights views. Brice and Barrett, however, have largely stayed out of direct party picking.
