Californian metalcore outfit Kingdom Of Giants have unveiled another taste of what’s next, releasing their brand new single “The Edge Of A Dream” alongside an accompanying music video.
The Kingdom Of Giants track follows last month’s “Respawn,” which introduced new bassist and vocalist JT Gutierrez after the departure of longtime member Jonny Reeves, who has since joined Australian heavyweights The Amity Affliction.
While Respawn marked the beginning of a new era for the band, “The Edge Of A Dream” builds on that momentum, leaning into Kingdom Of Giants’ signature blend of metalcore, soaring melodies and cinematic electronic textures.
Lyrically, the song explores themes of anxiety, insomnia and searching for clarity through emotional chaos, with its atmospheric soundscape balancing massive riffs against synths and soaring hooks.

A Unique place in modern heavy music
Over the past decade, Kingdom Of Giants have steadily carved out a unique place within modern heavy music, drawing inspiration from synthwave, cyberpunk aesthetics and contemporary metalcore without losing sight of the genre’s heavier foundations.
The result is a sound that resonates with fans of bands including Killswitch Engage, Architects, Northlane and As I Lay Dying, and Australian fans won’t have to wait long to hear the new material live.
The band returns to Australia this month as special guests on Holding Absence’s first ever Australian headline tour, marking Kingdom Of Giants’ first trip back since touring with Bury Tomorrow in 2023.
Since that run, the Californians have expanded their catalogue with the Bleeding Star and Burning Chrome EPs, while continuing to evolve their sound with a string of standalone singles leading into this latest release.
