Australian fans who have been keeping up with Knocked Loose’s relentless rise won’t need a ticket to Spain to catch the band in action this weekend.
The Kentucky hardcore heavyweights are among the artists set to have their performances broadcast globally as part of the 2026 Primavera Sound livestream, giving fans around the world the opportunity to tune in from home (per The PRP).
Held annually at Barcelona’s Parc del Fòrum, Primavera Sound has become one of Europe’s biggest music festivals, with this year’s edition featuring headline appearances from The Cure, Gorillaz and Doja Cat, alongside a diverse lineup that includes Massive Attack, Skrillex, Little Simz, Wet Leg, TV Girl and many more.
Essential Saturday morning viewing
For heavy music fans, however, all eyes will be on Knocked Loose when they hit the stage this Saturday, June 6th, according to the festival’s official broadcast schedule, the band’s set is one of the select performances being streamed across Prime Video, the Amazon Music app, Amazon Music’s Twitch channel and other participating platforms.
The scheduled performance time is listed as 1:35am CEST (Barcelona time) on June 6th, for Australian viewers on the east coast, that converts to 9:35am AEST (Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and the ACT) on Saturday, June 6th, making it a relatively friendly viewing time compared to many overseas festival broadcasts.
That’s 9:05am in South Australia and the Northern Territory, and 7:35am for viewers in Western Australia.
While several other alternative and punk-adjacent acts including Touché Amoré and Kylesa are appearing at the festival, their performances are not currently listed among the livestream offerings.
Making moves
The broadcast arrives during a challenging yet successful period for Knocked Loose, the band have spent recent months touring extensively across Europe and the United Kingdom, including high profile support slots alongside Metallica and Gojira.
Despite facing setbacks on the road, including vocalist Bryan Garris dealing with Bell’s Palsy and guitarist/vocalist Isaac Hale reportedly being struck by a vehicle, the band have continued pushing forward with their touring commitments.
With their popularity continuing to surge following the success of You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To, this weekend’s livestream offers Australian fans another chance to witness one of modern heavy music’s most talked about live acts from anywhere in the country.
