Less Than Jake are heading back to Australia and New Zealand this October and November, locking in their ‘Circus Down Under’ tour with The Aquabats! and The Suicide Machines in tow.
For a band that’s been circling this scene for over three decades, every Less Than Jake trip down here still hits like a reunion that never lost its spark, packed rooms, brass lines cutting through sweaty venues, and choruses that feel hardwired into muscle memory.
As Less Than Jake put it, Australia remains “one of our favourite places in the world.” (per press release), and yeah, anyone who’s been caught in one of their local shows knows that’s not just throwaway tour talk.

A super fun lineup
Less Than Jake are bringing two bands that sit comfortably on opposite ends of ska-punk’s out there spectrum.
The Aquabats! are pure controlled absurdity with costumes, characters, and a live show that feels closer to a Saturday morning cartoon meltdown than a standard set, it shouldn’t work as well as it does, but it always lands.
Then there’s The Suicide Machines, who strip things back to something sharper. Faster, more direct, and rooted firmly in punk’s bite, they’ve never needed gimmicks, just velocity and intent.
Put all three together and it’s less a nostalgia circuit, more a reminder of how wide this scene actually stretches, there’s no overthinking needed here. If you’ve seen Less Than Jake before, you already know how this plays out, if you haven’t this is the kind of tour that makes it click.
