Marilyn Manson Announces 30th Anniversary Antichrist Superstar Shows

Share

Marilyn Manson will perform two concerts in LA later this year to mark the 30th anniversary of his breakthrough album.

I’m starting to suspect that the deleterious effects of cancel culture on accused abusers has been wildly overstated. It certainly seems like Marilyn Manson‘s wilderness years are over, and you’d think that being accused of abuse by 16 people would have seen the disgraced shock rocker permanently on the outs with mainstream culture.

But that’s not the case, is it? Not only did the 57-year-old Manson just mount the catwalk for the Enfants Riches Déprimés’s Fall/Winter 2026 show at Paris Fashion Week, he just announced that he’ll be performing two shows in Los Angeles later this year to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his second album, Antichrist Superstar. Released on October 8, 1996, the album marked Manson’s breakthrough, along the way making him one of the most controversial rock stars of the moment. It was a different time.

“I’m celebrating 30 years of Antichrist Superstar at The Wiltern with a set that dives deep into this defining record and spans the milestones that followed,” Manson wrote. “It’s a tribute to where I began – and everything I have become.”

The gigs will take place on October 31 and November 1, and mark Manson’s first Los Angeles shows in eight years.

But Mazza’s keeping himself busy in the interim. He’s touring North America this northern Spring for One Assassination Under God, his latest album, with European festival slots and headlining shows following that. And then he has Freaks On Parade, his co-headlining tour with Rob Zombie, starting in West Palm Beach, Florida, on August 20, with support from The Hu and Orgy.

Yeah, getting canceled sucks ass, I guess.
