An unreleased Kraftwerk cover sits among the pair’s industrial recordings, alongside a Skinny Puppy track fans can already hear.
Mayhem frontman Attila Csihar says he has an unreleased Kraftwerk cover featuring Joey Jordison on drums, which he believes could be the late musician’s final recording.
Speaking to Metal Hammer, Csihar discussed Electhrone, the industrial metal project the pair conceived during a visit to Jordison in Des Moines, Iowa. Their recordings included versions of Kraftwerk’s ‘Radio-Activity’ and Skinny Puppy’s ‘Assimilate’.
The distinction matters: ‘Assimilate’ has already been released. ‘Radio-Activity’ remains unheard publicly, according to the interview.
“I think I have his last recordings ever,” Csihar told Metal Hammer, explaining that the project remained at the demo stage.

There is an earlier chapter to that claim. In October 2023, Metal Anarchy reported that Csihar had described ‘Assimilate’ on Instagram as Jordison’s last recording. The new interview does not establish the recording dates or sequence of the two covers.
Fans can hear the Skinny Puppy collaboration on Alien Vampires’ Return Me To Hell, released on 8 September 2023. Label Alfa Matrix identifies the track as a collaboration with Electhrone, featuring Csihar, Plasma Pool’s Istvan Zilahy and Jordison.
Csihar and Jordison also played together in Sinsaenum before Jordison’s death in 2021, aged 46.
For now, the Kraftwerk cover’s existence rests on Csihar’s firsthand account. The interview provides no release date, leaving open whether listeners will eventually hear it alongside the material already available.
