Ministry Release ‘We Hate’ From Final Album Ahead Of Good Things

Ministry have fired off another shot from their final studio album, releasing new single ‘We Hate’ ahead of ‘Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery)’, due October 30th via Cleopatra Records.

The track follows ‘Burned Out’ and arrives with a new video directed by former Revolting Cocks member Joshua Bradford. Given Al Jourgensen’s long history of turning political disgust into industrial abrasion, ‘We Hate’ lands exactly where you would expect: ugly, confrontational and pointed squarely at the current state of American politics.

It also pushes Ministry another step closer to the end.

‘Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery)’ is being billed as the band’s final album, closing out a career that stretches back to 1981 and across 17 studio records, the album will also feature one last collaboration with former Ministry member Paul Barker on closing track ‘We’re Still Here’.

That reunion alone gives the record some extra weight. Ministry have spent decades mutating from synth-pop beginnings into one of industrial metal’s defining acts, and the idea of Barker appearing on the final song feels like a deliberate full circle moment rather than a throwaway cameo.

Ministry’s Final Australian Shows Are Coming

Australian fans won’t have to wait long to hear material from the record live.

Ministry will return to Australia in December for Good Things Festival, with the run set to mark the band’s final Australian performances.

For anyone who has been putting off seeing Al Jourgensen’s industrial wrecking crew one more time, this is effectively the last call.

With more than four decades of noise, hostility and mechanical filth behind them, Ministry aren’t exactly the sort of band you want to catch by accident while wandering between stages, this one deserves to be planned around.

After Australia, the band will continue their farewell run in 2027, beginning with the Goodbye Europe Tour alongside Die Krupps in April before a full US tour is announced.
