No Cigar Announce Biggest Australian Tour Yet For 2026

New Zealand indie rock favourites No Cigar are heading back across the Tasman, announcing their most expansive Australian tour to date with a huge 13 date run scheduled for September and October.

Following a hugely successful Australian visit in 2025, Auckland’s No Cigar are returning with their biggest local trek yet, taking in capital cities alongside regional stops that continue to reflect the band’s growing connection with Australian audiences.

The announcement follows an impressive period for No Cigar, who have continued building momentum internationally after releasing their acclaimed third album, Under The Surface. Alongside sold out headline shows throughout the UK and successful tours across Europe and North America, the band have cemented themselves as one of New Zealand’s most exciting musical exports.

Blending indie rock, surf influences and alternative textures, No Cigar have steadily built a devoted global fanbase thanks to their heartfelt songwriting and energetic live performances, their growing popularity has also translated into Australia, where each return visit has seen venues become larger and crowds become louder.

This year’s tour has been shaped by the band’s desire to reconnect with fans while also venturing into new regional locations.

After experiencing the reception in regional Australia during previous tours, No Cigar have expanded their itinerary to include stops including Moonee Beach, Newcastle and Wollongong, alongside favourites like Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide.

The extensive run also signals the beginning of a new chapter for the band, with fresh music expected to be on the horizon as they continue evolving beyond Under The Surface.
