Australian music fans won’t need to worry about missing the biggest streamed sets from Outside Lands 2026, but you’ll need to keep an eye on the clock.
The San Francisco festival takes over Golden Gate Park from August 7th -9th, with Amazon Music bringing selected performances to audiences worldwide across two livestream channels.
For Australian viewers, the action begins in the morning and continues through the afternoon, making the festival considerably easier to catch than many US based livestreams (per the PRP).
The livestream kicks off at approximately 8:05am AEST each day, with the first sets beginning at 3:05pm PDT in San Francisco.
Friday’s schedule is particularly appealing for heavy music fans. Die Spitz opens Channel 2 at 8:05am AEST on Saturday, August 8, followed by The Story So Far at 9:50am.
Turnstile
Then comes the big one: Turnstile hits Channel 1 at 3:05pm AEST on Saturday.
That means Australian viewers can catch the melodic hardcore heavyweights without having to sacrifice an entire night of sleep, there’s plenty more worth setting an alarm for across the weekend.
On Sunday morning, Lucy Dacus arrives at 7:00am AEST, followed by Ethel Cain at 7:45am, while Djo performs at 11:05am. The xx then takes the stage at 12:10pm, before The Strokes close Channel 1 at 3:30pm AEST.
Sunday night’s US programming rolls into Monday morning in Australia. Death Cab For Cutie begins Channel 1 at 8:05am Monday, while Empire Of The Sun appears at 11:45am and Baby Keem at 1:45pm. Death Cab returns at 3:05pm Monday.
Saturday is the day to watch Turnstile, Sunday morning brings The xx and Sunday afternoon delivers The Strokes. The Outside Lands livestream is available free through Prime Video, Amazon Music and Amazon Music’s Twitch channel, with two channels running simultaneously.
So set the alarms, make the coffee and prepare the weekend playlist, Outside Lands is coming to Australia without the airfare.
