Radiohead seem to be gearing up for a new tour as mysterious flyers start to appear across multiple European cities.
The much rumoured Radiohead tour that has been brewing for the better part of 2025 seems closer than ever.
In March, the band launched a new business entity (an LLP) that usually signals a tour. A Los Angeles fire relief auction shortly after also featured a direct donation of four tickets to a “Radiohead concert of your choice”. Well, it’s looking like people can finally cash those in.
Spotted thanks to the Radiohead sub-reddit, a fan posted a photo of a flyer they said they had picked up from Barbican Centre, the performing arts centre in London. The flyer shared the band would be playing four shows in November. Other fans would then comment sharing that they went to the centre to also pick up the same flyer.
Another fan would post a different flyer with December dates in Copenhagen, Denmark. An additional photo would be shared on the sub-reddit revealing Berlin dates for December 8, 9, 11 and 12. Brooklyn Vegan has also reported similar flyers were found in Bologna, Italy.
So, it’s looking like European fans are in for a last minute treat come before the end of the year.
Now the real question is if the tour is a prelude to an upcoming album? Historically, Radiohead have always gone on tour to test new material before releasing an album. Fans may remember the rock group playing different iterations of tracks that would eventually end up on their 2007 album In Rainbows.
While frontman Thom Yorke and guitarist Johnny Greenwood have been busy with their side project The Smile, releasing two albums last year. The remaining Radiohead members have also been busy releasing solo albums in recent years.
Either way, if there was ever a time to start huffing that hopium, it’s now.
