Red Bull Flick is back to judge Counter-Strike: Global Offensive duos

Share

Whether you’re an amateur or a pro at Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, there’s no time like the present to show off your skills. Right now, you can do just that here in the land down under at the annual Red Bull Flick, which kicks off again this June for its 2021 edition to find the best Counter-Strike duos in Australia. With custom maps and a new futuristic narrative, Counter-Strike duos will have the chance to experience a twist on the game while simultaneously competing for the glory.

Each duo will fight for control of the brand new custom Red Bull maps, in a new game mode, ‘Hold The Flag’. Over the course of June and July, four qualifiers will be held throughout the competition, with a national finals to conclude the season. Online qualifiers in Australia will take place on the 26th and 27th of June, and then again on the 3rd and 4th of July. The finals will go down on the 10th of July, following the top 8 to 16 duos in a live broadcast. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has become one of the largest global esports since its release all the way back in 2012, continuing the history of competitiveness that previous games in the series sponsored. The multi-player first-person shooter continues to be one of the most played games on the Steam platform.

The Red Bull Flick comp first launched in 2019 in Turkey, expanding to become a global tournament taking place across over 30 countries in 2020. With tens of thousands of registrations, this isn’t one to miss for pro gamers, Counter-Strike enthusiasts and everyone in between who has access to a controller and a thirst for victory. The official Discord for the tournament is live, and you can register for the first qualifiers at the link below.
