Skillet’s biggest song just hit an even bigger milestone.

Long running rock outfit Skillet have officially crossed 4 billion global streams with their breakout anthem Monster, pushing the track into Spotify’s exclusive Billions Club and reinforcing its place among the most streamed rock songs ever released.

The achievement arrives during what’s shaping up to be one of the strongest periods of the band’s career, more than two decades after first emerging.

European headline run is a wrap

Skillet have wrapped a massive European headline run that moved 90,000 tickets across 23 cities, marking the largest international tour crowds the band has seen to date, the tour included sold out shows throughout major markets including London, Glasgow, Paris, Munich, Warsaw, Bucharest and Barcelona, with several venues reportedly setting new attendance records.

Among the standout moments was Paris’ iconic Zenith venue, where demand reached historic levels for the band, for a group that formed in the late ‘90s and built momentum through relentless touring and crossover appeal, the scale of their current success shows no signs of slowing.

The momentum hasn’t stopped at streaming and ticket sales either, Skillet’s track Legendary landed another high profile placement after being used as the featured theme in promotional material surrounding the historic UFC event at the White House, adding another major cultural touchpoint to the band’s catalogue.

The band also closed out last year with an unexpected career moment when releasing their first ever Christmas recording, O Come, O Come Emmanuel (above).

The release quickly gained traction online and went on to top five separate Billboard charts, introducing the group to audiences outside their traditional rock base, with more than 23 million albums sold worldwide, over 12 million monthly Spotify listeners, multiple platinum certifications and fresh music reportedly on the horizon, Skillet continue proving longevity in rock isn’t just possible, it can still scale.

And Monster keeps getting bigger.
