Known for their infectious melodies and deeply personal lyrics, Slowly Slowly’s upcoming album Forgiving Spree promises to deliver a mix of hip-shaking grooves, introspective narratives, and massive singalong choruses. Frontman Ben Stewart describes the tour as “huge spectacles” while aiming to keep things “intensely intimate.” Whether the band can pull off this ambitious mix remains to be seen, but their track record suggests fans are in for something special.

The tour also marks an exciting collaboration with international guests. Honey Revenge, the vibrant pop-punk duo from the US, will bring their colourful hooks and high-energy presence to the East Coast shows, while Grayscale, known for blending pop-punk with raw emotional depth, will feature on all five dates.

Since forming in 2015, Slowly Slowly have continued to push creative boundaries with each release. Their 2022 album Daisy Chain debuted at #5 on the ARIA Albums Chart and cemented their reputation as one of Australia’s most captivating live acts. With past tours alongside Amy Shark, Stand Atlantic, and Ocean Alley, and appearances at festivals like Good Things and Splendour in the Grass, the band is no stranger to electrifying stages at home and abroad.

Slowly Slowly’s Forgiving Spree tour is shaping up to be their most ambitious yet, with new material and a stacked international lineup set to light up venues across the country. Tickets go on sale this Friday—don’t sleep on it.
