As per the game’s existing Steam description: “In a Mana-infused land, a dark force led by the enigmatic Shadwyn threatens Neokos. Bring your party of adventurers together across perilous realms in this Turn-Based Tactical RPG based on the SRD 5e ruleset. You make the choices, dice decide your destiny.”

You’ll create a party of four adventurers who make their way to the faraway continent of Neokos to uncover their family legacy. Along the way, you and the continent will be met by the threat of the ancient Shadwyn, leaving it up to you and your choices to decide how to push back their impending tide of corruption.

The game’s Early Access is set to be released March 12th, 2026, letting players dive in before release to help play test the game, see the world of Neokos and the cast of characters on offer.

Similarly, Baldur’s Gate 3 would release in early access a year before its release, letting gamers play through an early version of Act 1. Throughout the year, the game’s narrative and cast of characters would receive significant rewrites, fleshing them out and adding new twists to their backstories.

No guarantees the same will happen to Solasta 2, but if that side of game development is interesting to you, or you just wanna play a new CRPG after grinding Baldur’s Gate 3 too many times, you’ll be able to dive in on March 12, 2026.
