Terror aren’t slowing down, and they’re not pretending to. The hardcore lifers have unleashed a new single, ‘Destruction Of My Soul’, taken from their upcoming album ‘Still Suffer’, due out April 24th via Flatspot Records.
At this point, Terror don’t need to prove anything, twenty four years deep, ten albums in, and they’re still swinging with the same blunt force that built their reputation in the first place, if anything, this new track feels like a reminder that they’ve outlasted most of their peers without softening the edges.
No polish, no restraint
‘Destruction Of My Soul’ lands exactly where you’d expect, fast, stripped back, and built on riffs that hit like a hammer rather than linger, Scott Vogel’s delivery is as raw as ever, pushing through the track with that familiar, no frills intensity.
There’s no attempt to modernise the formula or dress it up, Terror are sticking to what they’ve always done best, and doing it with purpose.
The track follows the release of the title cut ‘Still Suffer’, which already set the tone for the record. Together, they point to an album that isn’t interested in reinventing hardcore, just reinforcing it.

Built with familiar hands
The band teamed up with former guitarist Todd Jones on production, which makes sense, there’s a certain clarity here, but it never tips into clean or overworked, it still feels like it’s coming straight off the floor.
Behind the scenes, names like Taylor Young, Jon Markson and Brad Boatright round out the production, keeping everything tight without sanding down the aggression.
The record also pulls in a handful of guests who actually make sense in Terror’s world. Chuck Ragan, Brody King, Jay Peta and Dan Seely all show up across the tracklist, adding weight without shifting the core identity.
Still standing, still pushing
There’s a reason Terror have lasted this long, they’ve stayed locked into their lane while most bands around them have drifted or faded out.
‘Still Suffer’ looks set to double down on that, with ten tracks and no filler.
If ‘Destruction Of My Soul’ is anything to go by, they’re not here to evolve. They’re here to endure.
