The Amity Affliction have dropped a brutal and deeply personal new single, ‘All That I Remember’, featuring new clean vocalist Jonny Reeves.
The Amity Affliction have returned with one of their most emotionally charged tracks to date. Titled ‘All That I Remember’, the single landed this morning and marks the first new material from the Queensland heavyweights since parting ways with longtime clean vocalist and bassist Ahren Stringer.
As brutal as it is vulnerable, ‘All That I Remember’ sees frontman Joel Birch delve into his fractured relationship with his late mother. “My mother knew only abuse and isolation, even in death as she cut her own children off,” Birch said. “She died as she lived, paranoid and alone.”
His brother Beau echoed the pain behind the song, adding, “Time and again, our mother showed us that she would put herself first, and use life’s pain to justify her actions of self-interests, while we were left to fend for ourselves.”
The lyrics don’t hold back. Lines like “The day you died was not the same / Day you were dead to me / There’s none of you / Inside of me” cut deep, making it clear that this is not just another heavy track – it’s a raw reckoning.

The single also introduces a new era for The Amity Affliction with Jonny Reeves stepping in as clean vocalist. Previously of Kingdom of Giants, Reeves had already joined the band on tour. Now, he officially steps in beyond live shows in place of Stringer. Reeves brings a fresh energy to the band without diluting their core intensity.
The release of ‘All That I Remember’ follows The Amity Affliction’s massive ten-year anniversary celebration of Let the Ocean Take Me, which included a redux version of the album and a national arena tour with We Came As Romans and Ice Nine Kills. It also comes ahead of a major North American tour, including their spot on the stacked Summer Of Loud tour with Parkway Drive, Killswitch Engage, Beartooth and more.
The band are also set to appear on triple j’s Like A Version this Friday, which could offer another glimpse into what’s next for the group.
Whether ‘All That I Remember’ is a standalone statement or the first hint of a new body of work remains to be seen. But if it’s any indication of what’s coming, The Amity Affliction’s next chapter won’t just be heavier. It’ll be painfully raw, real, and honest.
