Purveyors of sheer brutality Thy Art Is Murder have made clear their intentions to incite some serious mosh business throughout their homeland, placing just about all major cites in the path of destruction. The band will be taking their new record Human Target on the road this May, and may god have mercy on us all.
Released last year, Human Target was another volatile and threatening assessment of the human condition, and all the bullshit it entails. Known for their deep dives into the notion of life, pain and suffering, Human Target is nothing short of a PhD on the topic from a band who don’t ‘address’ heavy topics – such as virtue signalling, extremism and disenfranchisement – so much as they shake them down at knife point and demand answers.
We last caught Thy Art in a live capacity as part of the Good Things spectacle (if you haven’t seen our supercut from the Sydney event feat. Thy Art, you simply must) However in that time the band has whittled away on the stage production side of things to ensure the Human Target shows are the most ambitious, and skeleton shaking, of their career.
To ensure maximum impact, Thy Art has enlisted the proverbial who’s who of their peers to join them: Dying Fetus, Fit For An Autopsy, Enterprise Earth & Aversions Crown.
