Powered by Iommi’s unmistakable riffs, guitar solos and the vocals of Norwegian rock singer Jorn Lande, “World Alone” delivers a modern heavy rock anthem without losing the classic sound that made Iommi one of metal’s most influential musicians.

The accompanying video (above) drops viewers into a dystopian retro-futuristic world where a character known as The Believer must fight through a twisted video game in search of survival and redemption.

Throughout From The Dark, Iommi is joined by Lande, who also co-wrote every track, alongside bassist Becky Baldwin and drummer Karl Brazil, the album was co-produced by Iommi and longtime collaborator Mike Exeter, delivering a polished yet powerful production that blends classic heavy metal with contemporary sonics.

Speaking about the new record, Iommi said, “It’s an album we’ve really enjoyed making. We’re not trying to prove anything – it’s a great album, it rocks!”
