Travis Barker Reflects On Trauma, Family And Blink-182 Ahead Of Louder Than Fear

With Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear arriving on streaming next week, the Blink-182 drummer has offered fans another glimpse into the deeply personal story behind the documentary during a new appearance on The New York Times’ Popcast.

Set to premiere globally next Thursday August 13th, Louder Than Fear follows Barker‘s extraordinary journey from his early years as a young musician to becoming one of the most influential drummers in modern rock.

The documentary also revisits the life changing 2008 plane crash that left him with severe burns, years of recovery and a long battle with post traumatic stress before eventually returning to the stage.

During the hour long Popcast conversation, Barker reflects on many of the themes explored throughout the documentary, the interview spans his decades long music career, from his early days with Feeble and The Aquabats through to Blink-182‘s rise, while also exploring his work across hip-hop, pop and alternative music.
