The Tasmanian festival’s punk and alternative contingent stretches across all four days, with some local discoveries worth making room for.
Party In The Paddock has unveiled its 2027 lineup, with Violent Soho, Lambrini Girls and Stand Atlantic giving punk and alternative fans plenty to work with.
The festival returns to Quercus Park in Carrick, Tasmania, from 4–7 February. Hilltop Hoods, Gang Of Youths, Ninajirachi and The Jungle Giants feature among the major drawcards, but there are persuasive reasons to spend some time further down the poster.
Friday is an obvious place to start. The official lineup puts Violent Soho, Lambrini Girls and daine on the Paddock stage, with C.O.F.F.I.N over at Vibestown. Your sensible shoes have their work cut out for them.
For Soho, the booking continues a return already underway. Their September headline run followed a four-year hiatus, with Beddy Rays supporting across the tour, as triple j reported when the shows were announced. The Paddock appearance adds another date to that next chapter.
Beddy Rays are heading south too, joining Ecca Vandal at Vibestown on Thursday. Stand Atlantic play the Paddock stage on Sunday, while Shady Nasty take on Vibestown.
Saturday deserves a closer look before you declare it your recovery day. The festival lists Hobart post-punk trio TEENS on the Paddock stage, with Launceston Celtic punks Captain O’Brien’s Craic, Hobart’s EWAH & The Vision Of Paradise and shoegaze/alt-rock outfit Mare at Vibestown. There is a decent Tasmanian discovery mission tucked inside this bill.
Catching the whole spread requires some attention at checkout. According to the festival’s ticket FAQ, three-day passes cover Friday to Sunday, leaving Thursday’s Ecca Vandal and Beddy Rays sets outside that window. Four-day camping passes cover the full festival, and a four-day non-camping option is new for 2027. Thursday single-day tickets are also listed.
So yes, you can commit to four days of music without committing to four nights of negotiating with a tent.
Camping is included only with Camping & Festival tickets, and vehicle passes cost extra. Campers can stay until Monday 8 February, which is worth remembering before confidently booking the trip home.
The festival confirms presale tickets become available at 8 am AEDT on Friday 23 October, followed by general sales at 8 am AEDT on Wednesday 28 October. Find the full lineup and ticket information through the official website.
