Poppy has debuted a new track titled ‘Bruised Sky’ ahead of her highly anticipated collaboration with Amy Lee from Evanescence and Courtney LaPlante from Spiritbox.
Poppy has performed a brand new track titled ‘Bruised Sky’ while on her ‘They’re All Around Us‘ tour.
Performing at The Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts, Poppy debuted the track 11 songs into her setlist.
The new track is classic metalcore, featuring Poppy’s now iconic screaming vocals, nu-metal riffs and half-time beats, making it a solid track to sprain your neck headbanging to.

The singer has been busy following the release of her 2024 album, Negative Spaces, which has seen her head out on tour and collaborate with several artists over the last year. Most recently, Poppy appeared on BABYMETAL‘s track ‘from me to u’ on their album METAL FORTH, which featured collaborations with several of metal’s most prolific artists at the time.
The track was featured recently in the newly released Marvel Zombies trailer, scoring several action sequences and bloody mayhem throughout the video. And, most notably, Poppy screaming, “Is there a virus infecting your system?”
Poppy is also expected to release a brand new collaboration track with Amy Lee from Evanescence and Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox titled ‘End of You’.
Teaser clips have been posted online, showing off dramatic visuals alongside the title ‘End Of You’. Evanescence vocalist Amy Lee can be heard singing the lyric, “’Cause the end of you is the start of life for me.”
The upcoming single was produced by Bring Me The Horizon producer Jordan Fish, who also produced Poppy’s collaboration with BABYMETAL and the singer’s solo album from last year. In an interview with NME, Fish shared a behind-the-scenes look at how the pair collaborate, stating, “Poppy wanted to do big rock songs, which I can do, I guess,” he admitted.
“She started off doing this erratic, genre-shifty music… It’s not really my expertise to constantly change tempo. In my mind, she hadn’t really put together a body of work that felt super coherent, so that was the challenge – putting her lyrics and flavour over more conventional song structures. It was a painless process [because] she’s not particularly stressed about what she’s making.
Earlier today, the trio confirmed that the song will premiere at 6:00 am AEST tomorrow morning. Talk about a great way to score your commute to work in the morning.
