Wednesday 13 is opening the crypt doors early.

Dread rock icon Wednesday 13 has revealed the first official preview of his upcoming live release, Un-Alive from Pol’and’Rock 2025, arriving September 25th via Napalm Records, dropping an electrified performance of “Look What The Bats Dragged In” as the opening shot.

Pulled from a massive festival set and captured in full live chaos, the performance reintroduces one of the defining tracks from Wednesday 13’s catalogue with all the volume, attitude and theatrical energy intact.

A Transylvania 90210 staple

Originally appearing on Transylvania 90210, the song has remained a staple across decades of touring and according to Wednesday himself, there was never another choice to kick off the record.

“Oh my God, look at what the bats dragged in. There’s no better way to start a WEDNESDAY 13 show than with this graveyard banger. The Poison parody title is still admired to this day. ‘Look What The Bats Dragged In’ was the first track from the first WEDNESDAY 13 album, it’s fast, furious, and never fails to get the audience in a frenzy. This track sets the pace for the whole live album.”

Un-Alive from Pol’and’Rock 2025 works as both a live snapshot and a celebration of Wednesday 13’s entire world, moving between solo material and fan favourites from Murderdolls.

The set reaches across multiple eras, featuring songs from Transylvania 90210, The Dixie Dead, Horrifier, Mid Death Crisis and cult Murderdolls staples including Summertime Suicide and 197666.

Available across multiple formats including CD, vinyl variants and digital release, the album captures the theatrical fun and horror soaked energy that has made Wednesday 13 one of alternative music’s most enduring cult figures.

If the first release is anything to go by, this one was never designed to be listened to quietly.
