Perth is rapidly becoming WWE’s Australian stronghold, with the company locking in a new three year deal that will bring a full WWE Weekend Takeover to Western Australia every year through 2028.
The WWE run kicks off this December with ‘Wrestlepalooza: Perth’, set to take over RAC Arena on Saturday, December 12th.
Better yet? WWE isn’t flying in for one night and disappearing.
SmackDown will open proceedings at RAC Arena on Friday, December 11th, followed by ‘Wrestlepalooza: Perth’ on Saturday, before Raw closes the run on Monday, December 14th.
Three event combo tickets covering SmackDown, ‘Wrestlepalooza: Perth’ and Raw go on general sale Thursday, September 10th at 10am AWST.

WWE Is Planting Its Flag In Perth
The agreement between WWE and the Western Australian Government through Tourism Western Australia guarantees Perth an annual Premium Live Event alongside SmackDown and Raw for the next three years.
It follows two major recent WWE visits to the city, with ‘Elimination Chamber: Perth’ landing in 2024 before ‘Crown Jewel: Perth’ followed in 2025.
Those events have clearly given both sides enough reason to keep the relationship moving.
According to the WA Government, the 2024 and 2025 events collectively generated more than $58 million for the state’s economy. ‘Elimination Chamber’ attracted more than 18,000 visitors from outside WA, while ‘Crown Jewel’ brought in more than 12,500.
This time around, the activity will again stretch beyond the ring, with WWE Superstores, Superstar meet and greets, community events and other fan experiences expected across Perth.
‘Wrestlepalooza’ Heads Down Under
The December event will mark the second WWE edition of ‘Wrestlepalooza’ after the company revived the name in 2025.
That inaugural event was headlined by John Cena and Brock Lesnar and also marked the beginning of WWE’s US partnership with ESPN.
For Australian fans, though, the bigger story is what happens after December.
Perth now has WWE Premium Live Events locked in annually until 2028, turning what once looked like a string of major one-off Australian shows into something considerably more permanent.
