The Madison Trailer Brings Michelle Pfeiffer And Kurt Russell Into The Yellowstone Universe

Yellowstone is getting as big as the wide Montana sky as The Madison hits our screens in a few weeks

It’s a big day for Taylor Sheridan fans, with news that his new Tulsa King spin off with Samuel L. Jackson is being retooled, and now our first good look at The Madison, his upcoming six episode Yellowstone spin off starring Kurt Russell and Michelle Pfeiffer, together again for the first time since 1988’s Tequila Sunrise.

But this one is aa bit of a change of pace for Sheridan – more thoughtful, melancholy, and elegiac. Doesn’t look like we can expect a lot of gunplay in this one, but you never know.

What’s the vibe?

I’m just curious to see if Taylor Sheridan can do heartfelt drama, as opposed to the histrionic soap opera that Yellowstone turned into in its last couple of seasons. Russell and Pfeiffer sure can, though.
