Yungblud is gearing up for a huge start to 2026, with his biggest Australian tour to date and announcing Brisbane punk heroes Dune Rats as special guests.
The run forms part of his global IDOLS tour, which arrives off the back of a massive year that included One More Time, his collaborative EP with Aerosmith that debuted at No. 1 on multiple Billboard charts.
Australia’s clearly hungry for Yungblud with Perth and Brisbane selling out already and forcing the addition of a second Brisbane date, while Sydney’s demand pushed the show into Qudos Bank Arena.
It’s a serious level-up for an artist who already treats touring like a contact sport, leaning into the raw, communal energy that earned him a diehard fanbase from day one.
Dune Rats
Dune Rats joining the trek feels like a bit of a no-brainer, the Brisbane trio have spent more than fifteen years embodying the spirit of Australian punk, loud, loose and powered by the same DIY attitude that took them from backyard gigs to the top of the ARIA Albums Chart.
Their breakout The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit cemented them as one of the country’s most explosive live bands, and they’ve only grown sharper since, tearing through international tours and dropping 2024’s hook-laden If It Sucks, Turn It Up. Pairing them with YUNGBLUD is the kind of chaotic chemistry Australian crowds thrive on.
YUNGBLUD: IDOLS Photography Exhibition
Outside the arena shows, fans will get something a little more intimate with the world exclusive debut of YUNGBLUD: IDOLS, a photography exhibition by long time collaborator Tom Pallant.
Running at Behind The Gallery in Newtown from January 7th to 11th, the exhibition promises never before seen moments documenting YUNGBLUD’s rise, everything from backstage fragments to high voltage shots that capture the messy, emotional heartbeat of his live world.
