Canadian artist Jutes had dropped two new singles from upcoming alt-metal album Dilworth, blending influences from bands like Deftones and Bad Omens.
Canadian singer and producer Jutes has released two new tracks, Left on Dilworth and Crucifixxx, giving fans a deeper look into his upcoming full-length album Dilworth. The singles follow in the footsteps of his 2024 record Sleepyhead, a genre-blurring release that drew comparisons to Deftones and established him as more than just a collaborator or tabloid regular.
While he may be familiar to some as Demi Lovato’s fiancé, Jutes has built a name for himself as a solo artist. Sleepyhead introduced his fusion of alt-metal textures, emotional lyricism and occasional R&B overtones, and Dilworth seems set to expand that foundation with a heavier and more focused sound.
Left on Dilworth leans into the heavier end of the spectrum, layering low-end grooves with melodic vocal shifts. It’s a track that echoes the brooding weight of Deftones, but channels the modern dynamics of bands like Sleep Token (especially in the riffs and soaring vocals towards the middle of the track.)
Crucifixxx moves in a similar direction, blending vulnerability with aggression in a way that feels both personal and polished, with a sonic signature that will undoubtedly resonate with Bad Omens fans.

Jutes has signed to Position Music for the release of Dilworth, which will span 15 tracks. In addition to the two new singles, the album will also feature previously released songs including Red Velvet featuring Ari Abdul, SMUT, House of Cards and The End.
A firm release date hasn’t been confirmed, but the rollout is already showing signs of a major step forward for Jutes stylistically.
While the alt-metal space continues to evolve, Dilworth looks to position Jutes in line with the genre’s most forward-thinking artists.
