The Amity Affliction Celebrate 15 Years of Youngbloods With Limited Edition Dixxon Flannel

To mark 15 years since the release of Youngbloods, The Amity Affliction have teamed up with Dixxon for a special-edition flannel inspired by the iconic album.

The Amity Affliction are marking 15 years since the era-defining classic album Youngbloods first hit the metalcore scene – and they’re doing it with a Dixxon collaboration.

In collaboration with cult-favourite apparel brand Dixxon Flannel Co., The Amity Affliction are releasing a limited-edition flannel designed around the aesthetic and attitude of Youngbloods. The capsule arrives June 18 at 5PM PDT (10AM AEST, Thursday June 19 for Aussies), and it’ll be available online via the Dixxon app, the website, and in-store at the brand’s showroom.

“It’s been 15 years since the release of Youngbloods — one of the defining albums of The Amity Affliction’s career,” Dixxon wrote on social media, calling the release a tribute to the record that helped solidify the band’s legacy. “This iconic record marked their rise as metalcore legends, and now we’re channeling that energy into this limited edition collab.”

An additional post on Instagram announcing the collab echoed the statement: “we celebrate 15 years since the release of…“Youngbloods”…with a flannel that carries the weight of metalcore’s anthem – made for the die-hards, the pit warriors, and the true fans.”

The flannel itself isn’t a particularly obnoxious piece of merch, as far as collabs go – it comes fitted with understated “Dixxon x The Amity Affliction” buttons, and a red, black, and white flannel pattern. The inner lining also features the band’s logo.

The Amity Affliction’s Youngbloods dropped in 2010 and remains a fan favourite, loaded with scene staples like ‘I Hate Hartley’, ‘Anchors’, and the title track ‘Youngbloods’. The album was a commercial and critical turning point for the Queensland crew, debuting at #6 on the ARIA Charts.

Dixxon has previously collaborated with other heavy acts including Kublai Khan TX, but this latest drop leans into a deep sense of nostalgia for one of Australia’s most enduring and influential heavy bands.

For fans who’ve ever screamed along to ‘Dr. Thunder’ in a sweat-soaked room, this isn’t just a piece of merch – it’s a stitched-up time capsule from the peak of metalcore’s golden era.
