Gorillaz are the headliners for Fortnite Festival Season 10. Here’s when the new season launches and what to expect from the collab.
Epic Games has revealed that Gorillaz will headline Fortnite Festival Season 10, set to launch on August 26. The announcement makes the British virtual pop-rock band the latest major act to take over the in-game festival, following past headliners including Bruno Mars, Sabrina Carpenter, Hatsune Miku, Metallica, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, and The Weeknd.
The lineup brings animated band members Noodle, 2D, Russel Hobbs, and Murdoc Niccals into the Fortnite universe as playable outfits, complete with themed cosmetics. Murdoc marked the occasion on Monday, saying: “It’s an honour for all of you that I am finally to be immortalised in my own fiefdom. Watch out serfs, here I come.”
The Fortnite Festival Main Stage has been redesigned too – with high-rise buildings, graffiti, and a street train to fit the Gorillaz aesthetic.
There’s a lot to unpack in this new announcement, so we’ll be running you through the launch times as well as the Gorillaz Fortnite Shop and Music Pass items available to buy and earn throughout the season.
