Poppy To Livestream Her Upcoming Concert In Anaheim, California

Poppy has announced that she will be livestreaming her upcoming concert in Anaheim, California, for fans all across the world.

Poppy has announced that she will be livestreaming her upcoming September 27th concert taking place in Anaheim, California, on the streaming platform Veeps.

Aussie fans will be able to purchase a digital ticket for $25.74 AUD on the site, which will give access to the livestream.

Poppy’s recent US headlining tour kicked off last week and is being supported by Dying Wish and MSPAINT. Her first show saw the singer debut her new track “Bruised Sky” and perform her most recent collab with BABYMETAL from their recent album METAL FORTH.

The track was featured recently in the newly released Marvel Zombies trailer, scoring several action sequences and bloody mayhem throughout the video. And, most notably, Poppy screaming, “Is there a virus infecting your system?”

Last week, Poppy also released the collab track ‘End of You‘ with Amy Lee of Evanescence and Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox.

The single was produced by Bring Me The Horizon producer Jordan Fish, who also produced Poppy’s collaboration with BABYMETAL and the singer’s solo album, Negative Spaces, from last year.

In an interview with NME, the trio revealed that the collab started with Poppy and Fish, who had just helped Lee record the single ‘Hand That Feeds’, which appeared on the John Wick spin-off film Ballerina.

“It was mine and Jordan’s idea to start with,” Poppy shared. “And then we thought, ‘What if we made our version of a dark Moulin Rouge, like ‘Lady Marmalade’?”

“It was literally the concept of, ‘Let’s just get us all together,’ that started the song, which is really fun,” Lee added. “Poppy and Jordan came over to my house, and we flushed a lot of it out together. The first verse came to me mostly cooked, the part that I was going to start the song with. It’s funny, because Poppy wrote my words and I wrote hers.”

Poppy is set to support Evanescence on tour soon; however, Lee has shared that we shouldn’t expect them to perform the song together.

“I hate to give away that it’s not happening, but I might as well rip the rug out so people aren’t asking for it up until showtime,” said Lee. “We thought about it, but we really want to do it with Courtney.”

Poppy would also confirm that no further collaborations were planned, admitting that while it “could be fun” to collaborate again, “I do feel like the song is so exciting that it deserves its time first,” the singer shared.
