Don Broco lit up The Croxton on Saturday night with an electrifying, high-energy set that proved exactly why they’re one of the most exciting live bands around.
The Croxton in Melbourne was alive on Saturday night as Don Broco stormed the stage for the opening leg of their highly anticipated tour. From the very first note, the UK rockers had the sold-out crowd bouncing, clapping, and singing along, turning the venue into a pressure cooker of energy.
It’s been a little while since Don Broco last hit Australian shores, but the wait was more than worth it. The band promised fans they’d kick off their next world tour down under – and true to their word, Melbourne was among the cities getting a first taste of what’s shaping up to be a monumental run. Fresh off a fiery appearance at Download Festival in the UK, the Bedford outfit arrived sharp, confident, and ready to deliver on every level.
The setlist was a perfect storm of heavy riffs, infectious grooves, and singalong anthems. Fan favourites rang out like battle cries, with every lyric shouted back at full volume. Fresh tracks slotted seamlessly alongside the classics, showing off just how much the band continues to evolve without losing their trademark punch.
On stage, Don Broco were relentless. With a huge stage presence and boundless energy, they commanded the room with ease. Every member – from front to back – threw themselves into the performance, feeding off the crowd and giving it right back. The Croxton floor was heaving, the air thick with sweat and sound, and not a single person could resist moving.
By the time the final song hit, the room was one collective roar. Don Broco had kept their promise and then some, delivering a night of pure release that reminded everyone in attendance why they’ve become one of the most exciting live bands in the world today.
