Lacuna Coil Announce 2026 Australian Tour Dates

Share

Lacuna Coil are set to return to Australia in February for their first headline tour Down Under in a decade.

Italian gothic metal icons Lacuna Coil are set to make their long-awaited return to Australia in early 2026. The band will embark on the Sleepless Empire Australian Tour in February, marking their first headline run down under in ten years.

The tour will kick off in Brisbane on Thursday 12 February before moving through Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide, and wrapping up in Perth on Thursday 19 February.

Lacuna Coil arrive armed with their tenth studio album Sleepless Empire, released earlier this year. The record pushes into more cinematic and experimental territory while still carrying the band’s trademark blend of heaviness and atmosphere. Tracks like ‘Never Dawn’, ‘I Wish You Were Dead’ and ‘Hosting the Shadow’ (featuring Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe) have already become standouts.

The band’s live reputation precedes them. Whether headlining or appearing at major festivals, Lacuna Coil have built a career on commanding performances. Their last trip to Australia in 2022, supporting Gojira and appearing at Good Things Festival, earned critical acclaim, with Music Feeds declaring their set “one of the sets of the day.”

With over two million albums sold worldwide and more than two decades of forging a distinctive presence in heavy music, Lacuna Coil’s 2026 return promises to be both a celebration of their past and a showcase of their evolution.
