Hulu has unveiled the trailer for Into The Void: Life, Death & Heavy Metal, an upcoming eight-part docuseries from Jason Eisner and Evan Husney, the team behind Vice TV’s Dark Side of the Ring.
The series is set to premiere on September 22 and examines some of the most infamous, tragic, and culture-shaping stories in heavy metal history. Hulu describes it as a “coming of rage story” in their recent post to Instagram.
Using unseen archival footage alongside first-hand accounts, Into The Void focuses on moments where music, identity, controversy, and mortality collided. The series promises to cover everything from shocking crimes and untimely deaths to censorship battles and global struggles for artistic freedom.
